Birds Glass Sculptures by Vigna
In 2007 the Birds by the Italian Giorgio Vigna were born. In the hot shops of Nuutajärvi, Finland, glassblowers bring the vision of the artist to life, today and in the future.
Giorgio Vigna (1955) is fascinated by the tension of opposites: reality and imagination, shape and material. Vigna's pieces are often sculptural and they carry strong symbolic meanings.
